Café Fausse is a fictional restaurant created for a university project. The address and phone number are invented — please don't visit or call. Reservations and newsletter sign-ups made here are stored by the demonstration system only; no table will be waiting and no food will be served.
Photographs and portraits
Some photographs on this site, including the founders' portraits, are AI-generated illustrations of a fictional restaurant and fictional people. Any resemblance to a real person or place is accidental.
Press, reviews and awards
The two reviews and the three awards in the project brief are part of the fiction. Every other quotation and recognition — the press quotes and the guides, societies and polls on the awards wall — comes from invented publications and bodies, and is illustrative.
Menu, allergens and nutrition
Before placing your order, please tell your server about any food allergy. Our kitchen handles all nine major allergens, so no dish can be guaranteed free of them. Calories and nutrition values are plausible estimates, not laboratory analysis; 2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice, but calorie needs vary.
Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions. Dishes served raw or undercooked are marked on the menu.
Alcohol
You must be 21 or older to order alcohol. Valid photo ID may be requested. Please drink responsibly.
Prices and service
Prices are in US dollars. No service charge or mandatory fee is added to the bill; gratuity is optional and goes in full to the staff.
Social accounts, the API and AI assistants
The social-media handles in the footer are illustrative and may not exist. The public API documentation and the server for AI assistants are part of the demonstration: they work against the same fictional restaurant.
